ABOUT ZEN’S KITCHEN

Our Story

  Zen’s Kitchen first opened summer 2016 after many months of transforming a 1969 caravan into a fully commercial kitchen that can make…almost anything. It’s named after Zen, the owner and chef. Originally from the Czech Republic he came to New Zealand in 2007, loved it and never left. He has been working as a chef for over twentyfive years. From small ski chalets in the hills of the Czech Republic, to the 5 star Prestonfield house Hotel in Edinburg and some of our Wellington favourites Fidel’s café and Commonsense Organics to name a few.
